I’ll go over the special case of multiple outfit pieces at the end. A character may equip two distinct items both with exactly the same physics for breasts, but consider combining the two items into a single outfit for best results. The same holds for naked body using cloth physics (default if CBBE body built with physics using BodySlide) and putting on a coat or scarf with physics. Avoid equipping both else risk wild physics weirdness. What this means is that if an outfit uses cloth physics for breasts, the character may not also equip cloth physics on a scarf or the coat-tail of an overcoat.

Drag Ruddy's Simple Sorter.esp from the Overwrite to the Ruddy88's Simple Sorter mod in the left pane of MO2. Once you have exited the program, double-click on the Overwrite mod at the bottom of the left pane of MO2. Press control+s to save the changes, and then exit the program. Wait for the message Done: Applying script "R88_SimpleSorter" to appear in the right pane. Click OK again to let the script run (may take a few minutes). In the next pop-up, name the file Ruddy's Simple Sorter then select OK. In the next pop-up, make sure every plugin is checked then select OK. In the Options pop-up, select the following options then select New Patch:. In the pop-up, select R88_SimpleSorter from the Script drop-down then select OK. Right-click anywhere in the left pane and select Apply Script. Wait for the message Background Loader: finished to appear in the right pane. 
At the ModGroups pop-up, just select OK.At the Module Selection pop-up, just hold down left shift and click OK.Once the folder is extracted, run FO4Edit through MO2.

The Edit Scripts from the archive should align with the Edit Scripts folder already in the FO4Edit folder

Download the R88SimpleSorter_SCRIPT main file using the Manual Download button. 
Download and install the Main File - R88SimpleSorter_XML 1.0 normally through MO2. Ruddy88's Simple Sorter Installation instructions: From the pop-up, navigate to where FO4Edit is installed and select FO4Edit.exe. Click the + at the top of the window and the select Add from file. Select the button at the top of MO2 to open the executables menu. All programs that have been added to MO2 can be selected via the drop-down menu in the top right. In order for FO4Edit to recognize MO2's virtual file system, it needs to be ran directly through MO2. The Edit Scripts folder from the archive should align with the Edit Scripts folder already in the FO4Edit folder. Extract the Edit Scripts folder from the downloaded archive to the same folder that you extracted the above archive to.
